Spill
Spill is a premium non-alcoholic drinks brand I created for my final major project at university to challenge outdated drinking culture and provide Gen Z with a sophisticated, healthy, and mood-enhancing alternative to alcohol. The idea was born from personal experience and cultural research, identifying a market gap for non-alcoholic options that feel as exciting and stylish as their alcoholic counterparts, without the sugar, hangovers, or social stigma. Spill blends botanicals, nootropics, and adaptogens to offer a natural “buzz,” targeting health-conscious consumers who still want to participate in social rituals without compromising their wellbeing.
I art directed the entire brand world, from strategy and concept development to packaging design, website creation, and campaign rollout. I led with a strong research foundation, identifying key audience segments and understanding their needs through surveys, interviews, and expert insights. The brand was positioned to feel effortlessly cool and culturally relevant, with a tone of voice that was bold, playful, and never preachy. I designed custom packaging, built a working website, created a physical prototype, and developed a 360-degree marketing campaign titled “Rethink the Ritual”, featuring celebrity ambassador Peggy Gou to help position Spill at the intersection of nightlife, wellness, and creative culture.
Throughout the process, I explored new tools like Adobe Firefly and Premiere Pro, staged and edited lifestyle content, and produced a full launch strategy including, street stickers with QR teasers, immersive events, pop-up carts, and user-generated challenges on TikTok.
